After eleven years and eight New York Times bestselling novels author Paul Kemprecos will no longer be co-writing stories in Clive Cussler’s NUMA files series.  VJ Books owner John Hutchinson recently spoke to Kemprecos who was as his home on Cape Cod having just returned from Thrillerfest in New York.

“Paul indicated that his was lining up all the pieces necessary to again become a solo act,” said Hutchinson.  “He has some ideas for a new book, that may be the foundation for a new adventure series”

Paul, along with his wife Christi, have been very popular among the Cussler fan base, and a big part of the annual fan convention, Cusslercon held each fall.  “We will miss seeing them in Scottsdale in September,” added Hutchinson, “But I am really exited to see what Paul comes up with.  His skill is superb, and his characters and stories ring with excitement and realism.  We look forward to being a small part of bringing his new books to our customers.”
