I have read all the Bosch series and then went back and read this stand alone novel. I should have read this in order as the characters are all related to the other books. It is the story of ex FBI profiler McCaleb and the investigation into a serial killer after his heart operation. Once again there is also the bringing in of lawyer Haller and the reporters to continue the respective other books.
That aside once again Conelly proves what a master of a story teller he is and the way he keeps you guessing and makes you want to keep the reading going is brilliant.
I had not read a Connelly book till about 8 weeks ago and now have read them all.
This book like all the others is excellent
I have no hesitation in recommending any of his books and this one definitely included..
