This legal and suspense thriller is superb.LA Homicide Detective, Harry Bosch and, Defense Attorney Mickey Haller work together to solve Harry's case. Mickey Haller has been in rehab due to substance abuse. Mickey's job stress had caused him to turn to pills. However, when the murder of his old colleague, Jerry Vincent, provides him with an over-night thriving practice. Harry Bosch is working on Jerry Vincent's murder. It doesn't take long before Mickey Haller believes is in danger. He agrees to leak a story to the media to bring the killer out into the open. In the mean time, he needs to work his court case, a Hollywood Mogul accused of the double homicide of his wife and lover. The defendant has plenty of motive and Mickey Haller has to find the "magic bullet" referred to in Mickey's investigation of the case.This is one of Michael Connelly's best Harry Bosch novels sure to please all his fans. I would like to read another novel that includes both of these characters.
