VJ Books presents David Levien!

David Levien is a screenwriter, novelist, director, and producer, and is one of the top screenwriters in Hollywood. Best known as the co-writer of Ocean's Thirteen and Rounders, Levien has also produced films such as The Illusionist and The Lucky Ones.

David Levien was born in New York and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 1989, where he published short stories in the undergraduate literary magazine. After graduation, he spent three years in Los Angeles working in the film business, and began writing screenplays and fiction.

As a novelist, he has published City of the Sun and Where the Dead Lay with Random House.

He lives in Connecticut.
