Jeff Lindsay is the pen name of American playwright and crime novelist Jeffry P. Freundlich, born July 14, 1952. Lindsay is best known for writing the Dexter series of novels. Many of his earlier published works include his wife Hilary Hemingway as a co-author. His wife is author in her own right, and also the niece of Ernest Hemingway. Time Blender was written with Michael Dorn (Worf of Star Trek fame). He graduated from Ransom Everglades high school and Middlebury College, Vermont, in 1975. Lindsay lives in Cape Coral, Florida.
