VJ Books Presents Author Catherine McKenzie!
 Catherine McKenzie was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. She studied History and Law at McGill University and practiced law for 20 years.
McKenzie grew up writing poetry, but never had any aspirations of becoming a novelist. One day though, in the midst of her career as a lawyer, she had an idea that demanded writing down. This idea became Arranged (2010), and just 10 years later McKenzie has written a dozen novels and left law behind. Arranged was also adapted to the screen, and won a Canadian National Screen Institute Award.
In her spare time, McKenzie enjoys getting out on the water, running, skiing, and playing tennis.
