always enjoy Ms. Johansen's books - This one had a lot of my favorite characters in it:  Joe, Eve, and Kendra plus three new characters I can't wait to see more of.  This book has mystery, romance, suspense, ghosts, and voodoo in it.  Would recommend this book to anyone to read - couldn't put it down.

The Eve Duncan books have been a favorite for years, and she continually defies my expectations. This is a worthy addition to the series. What really amazes me is her ability to write a book totally unrelated to the Eve Duncan characters. Then in the following book, she weaves the different people right into the Eve Duncan ones, so smoothly I am constantly surprised! A great read!!
