He is also the author of a dozen books, fiction and non-fiction. He now lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

At 17 he and his friends founded an alternative high school which saw its students win places at multiple Ivy-League universities. After graduating, he began teaching, and since then, he has successfully started several companies, including two publishing companies. He founded Upline journal and also held the position of Editor in Chief at Networking Times. Mann has co-authored nearly 30 books, including Brandon Webb's memoirs. He is married to Ana Gabriel Mann, who also narrates his audio books.
