Mark Greaney and Tom Clancy

Mark Greaney Tom Clancy died more than a year ago, but his Jack Ryan franchise of espionage thrillers lives on, with Memphis-based writer Mark Greaney controlling the action. Tom Clancy's estate wants him to write two more Ryan books, to come out in 2015 and 2016. The books will continue to feature the two Jack Ryans. Jack Sr. is a former CIA analyst who is president of the United Sates, and Jack Jr. is on the secret anti-terrorism force The Campus.

Full Force and EffectTo date Greaney's contribution to Clancy legacy has included five New York Time's bestsellers - Locked On, Threat Vector, Command Authority, Support and Defend, and the just released, Full Force and Effect.

While keeping the Ryans in action, Greaney will also be sustaining his own espionage series about the adventures of the ex-CIA agent Court Gentry. The Gray Man came out in 2009, followed by On Target (2010), Ballistic (2011) and Dead Eye (2013). The next two installments will come out in hardback, with Back Blast scheduled for the fall of 2015.

It's time to meet Court Gentry - the Ex-CIA master assassin who continues to pride himself on his ability to disappear at will, to fly below the radar and exist in the shadowsÑto survive as the near-mythical Gray Man. So, if you are a fan of the spy gone rogue - if you follow the exploits of Jack Reacher, Mitch Rapp or Dewey Andreas - Court Gentry is right for you.
