James Patterson is known for short chapters, and quick story lines that travel at breakneck speeds. This book is no different, however, it is a little less formulaic. With many of Patterson's other books, the objective may be a little obvious, run from the bad guys, save the girl, and the excitement comes from how it is all accomplished. In this book the ending can't be guessed from the beginning.

For readers, such as myself, who don't like to read the blurb on the back because it reveals too much about the book, endings such as these are not only enjoyed but very welcome.
