Author Thomas Christopher GreeneThomas Christopher Greene was born and raised in 1968 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was the Milton Haight Turk Scholar at Hobart College, where he earned his bachelors degree in English. He knew from his creative writing classes that he wanted to be a writer some day. Following graduation, he continued his education with a Masters of Fine Arts in Writing at Vermont College (now closed).

Greene has worked as a pizza delivery man, factory worker, oyster shucker, deputy press secretary for a presidential campaign, director of public affairs for two universities, and professor of writing and literature. He co-founded the Vermont College of Fine Arts after the closure of his alma mater, and still serves as President. He made his debut as a novelist in 2003 with Mirror Lake, and has now authored half a dozen titles.

Greene lives in Vermont. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his daughter.
