Book Description

Tia and Mike Baye never imagined they'd become spying, overprotective parents. But their sixteen-year-old son Adam has been unusually distant and aloof lately, and after the recent suicide of his classmate, Spencer Hill, they can't help but worry. They install a spy program on Adam's computer and within days they are jolted by a strange message to their son from an unknown correspondent: "Just stay quiet and all safe."

Meanwhile, browsing through an online memorial for her son, Betsy Hill is struck by one photo in particular - it appears to have been taken on the night of Spencer's death . . . and he wasn't alone. She thinks it's Adam Baye standing just outside the camera's range, and when Adam goes missing, it soon becomes clear that something deep and sinister has infected their community.

Uncovering the secrets and lies at the heart of Spencer's death may be the only thing that can help Betsy move on - and perhaps save Adam's life.

Reviewer: M. CLEMENT from COLLEGE STATION, TX United States
High-school student Spencer Hill is found dead of an apparent suicide by drug overdose.
Tina and Mike Baye become increasingly concerned about 16-year-old son, Adam who is withdrawn, and taking the death of Spencer very hard. Tina and Mike want to protect Adam and choose to install spy-ware on Adam's computer. One message that arrives within a few days requests that Adam remain quiet and everything will be o.k.
Mother of Spencer Hill, Betsy Hill, is looking over an on-line memorial to her son.  She spots a picture that can't be right with the reported facts of her son's suicide. Spencer was said to be alone on the night of his death, but in a picture taken on the night of Spencer's death shows him with a friend and it looks to be Adam.
When Adam disappears, it seems that there is something else going on, something sinister. Finding out the truth to Spencer's death may be the only way to save Adam's life.
Hold on to your seat because you will want to finish this book in one read.
