VJ Books Presents Author Kelley Armstrong!

Kelley Armstrong is a Canadian writer, primarily of fantasy novels but has focused more recently on writing thrillers…with a twist. She has published more than 30 fantasy novels to date.

Her latest novel, Someone Is Always Watching, is a young adult psychological thriller, exploring fascinating questions of personhood, identity, and the role of memory in creating a sense of self.

Armstrong worked as a corporate programmer for several years while working on her stories. In speaking with VJ Books Podcast host Roger Nichols, she says she has been creating stories even before she was able to write them down, but her parents encouraged her to also find a job in something that she enjoyed while she continued to write. In 1999 she sold her first novel, Bitten, which would be published in 2001. Since then she has escaped from her day job and continued creating fantasy worlds as a full-time career.

She's the author of the NYT-bestselling "Women of the Otherworld" paranormal suspense series and "Darkest Powers" young adult urban fantasy trilogy, as well as the Nadia Stafford crime series. Armstrong lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids and far too many pets.
