Ahhh...the last shot of Jack???	December 24, 2009

In this installment of the "Jack" Daniels Chicago crime adventures, Daniels is faced with her nemesis once and for all. Having nothing left to lose after the murder of her fiance, Jack throws procedure to the wind and let's her instinct and thirst for revenge track down her worst enemy. This book has quite a bit of momentum, as Jack must race the clock with each new challenge presented by her challenger. One by one, Jack's friends and family are targeted, and Jack must put together the pieces and clues to save her loved ones.

As this appears (for now) to be the last of this series, I must say I have greatly enjoyed every character in these books. Cherry Bomb is a bit saucier than the others, but the laugh out loud statements and retorts (especially by the ever-foul Harry McGlade) kept me chuckling at times and rolling at others. I even caught myself re-reading some of the one-liners aloud. Hats off to this whole series. *rumor: "Shaken" is said to be the upcoming book 7!
