Thomas Greanias is the New York Times bestselling author of Raising Atlantis and its sequels, The Atlantis Prophecy and The Atlantis Revelation (2009).

His Beverly Hills-based media development, production and finance company, Thomas Greanias Entertainment, has partnered with CBS, Apple, Sony and other media giants to produce some of the world's bestselling audiobooks, interactive games and now motion pictures.

Previously, as founder and CEO Atlantis Interactive, Inc., Tom produced some of the Web’s most groundbreaking entertainment. He also founded, participated in or advised several billion-dollar film finance ventures for the major Hollywood studios.

 

Thomas is also the author of The Promised War (June 2010).

Greanias was born in Chicago on February 19, 1965 and grew up in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb north of Chicago. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Northwestern University. He has reported on issues of national security as an on-air correspondent in Washington, D.C., for NBC affiliates, and has advised Congress, the White House and Fortune 50 CEOs on the future of digital convergence.

He lives with his wife Laura, a former executive news editor at the Los Angeles Times, and their two sons in Los Angeles, California.
