VJ Books Presents Author A.J. Gnuse!
 A.J. Gnuse grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned an MFA in Fiction from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, and was a 2018 Kenyon Review Peter Taylor fellow.
Gnuse's short fiction and essays have been printed in publications such as the
Los Angles Review, Guernica Magazine, and The Guardian. His debut novel, The Girl in the Walls, was published in 2021. When he's not writing, Gnuse enjoys spending time outdoors. He lives in Texas with his fiancée.
