 Conn Iggulden is the bestselling author of historical series such as the War of the Roses series, the Conquerer Series, and the Emperor series. He has also written the Tollins series (for children) and co-authored The Dangerous Book for Boys. He taught English for seven years and was Head of English at St. Gregory's RC High School in London.
He has always loved historical fiction as a genre and cut his teeth on Hornblower and Tai-Pan, Flashman, Sharpe and Jack Aubrey. He still remembers the sheer joy of reading his first Patrick O'Brian book and discovering there were nineteen more in the series.
