Dear Virginia:

I know I get a lot of shipments consolidated which saves on shipping. So, how does that work, when you charge me for shipping a single book, and it gets consolidated with my other orders?

Virginia Replies:

Dear Forrest:

Our system charges shipping as if the whole lot were going at once. We "take the hit" when we ship them out individually or a few at a time, but try to ship 3+ in a box if possible (safer for the books). We think it works out in the long run, as opposed to charging the customer a per book shipping cost - which would be too much, and we combine when we can to make up the difference on "our side."
