In your opinion, which ones (authors, titles) are a good investment?

Those titles that are written by British authors and are the true first 1st/1st tend to appreciate the best. I would recommend new authors that are making quite a splash in Europe such as Tom Cain, Matt Hilton, Simon Toyne and Declan Hughes. Big names like Ken Follett, John Le Carre and Philip Kerr are always safe bets.
