The Oregon Files Series
Welcome aboard the Oregon. Owned by the Corporation, and captained by peg-legged Juan Cabrillo, the Oregon is just a rusty old tramp steamer - or is it?
Hidden beneath a facade of authenticity that includes a fake mess hall, an utterly repulsive captain's cabin, a dysfunctional toilet, and depressing paintings of clowns on black velvet, lurks an extraordinarily sophisticated intelligence-gathering vessel with luxury facilities and top of the line technical capabilities. The Oregon is equipped with a suite of armaments that rivals most military ships, including a broad array of advanced weaponry. The ship's control center has the feel of the starship Enterprise, including a large, central command chair where Cabrillo sits - "The Kirk Chair".
The Oregon Files was originally written by Clive Cussler with Craig Dirgo for the first two books, followed by co-author Jack Du Brul for the next seven titles. Starting with 2015'S PIRANHA co-author Boyd Morrison takes over the popular series.
Come along as Cabrillo and his crew of mercenaries cross the high seas, seeking out those beyond the arms of the law and dealing out justice to those who plot chaos on a global scale.
