It has always amazed me how Reacher finds trouble wherever he goes as he wanders the backroads of America.
In a small Colorado town, a woman dies under the wheels of a moving bus. Her death is ruled a suicide, but Jack Reacher saw what really happened - she was pushed.
Reacher is instantly embroiled in an investigation that takes him from Colorado all the way to a high-security prison in Mississippi. The bad guys don't want him to go there and have set up ambushes along the way. Reacher fans can anticipate how those plans turn out for the bad guys. Not well.
NO PLAN B differs from previous Reacher novels in that the heart of the conspiracy does not come to light until the final pages. It sustains the suspense in an interesting way.
The story flows evenly between the different threads, and the characters take on bold nuances and personalities.
Andrew's takeover of the series has been seamless. His great success has to be tied to "letting Reacher be Reacher!" NO PLAN B is a must read.
