Dear John:
In at least two of Jack DuBrul's Philip Mercer books, he refers to an incident around Hawaii and a Russian sub. Which book is he talking about? - Jerry
Jerry:
Jack's first book Vulcan's Forge takes place in Hawaii. For more details on all of his stories visit his website, http://www.jackdubrulbooks.com. He gives a good overview of each of his books. Vulcan's Forge, Charon's Landing and Havoc are the only titles issued in hardcover, with the others being released as mass merchant paperbacks. We have been pushing him for years to let us reissue his paperback titles as collector hardcovers, but nothing yet.
All the best,
John
